A QUICK
NOTE
Here are some of the most common questions we get at Syncrecy "what are your hourly rates?"
and "Do you have block rates?". Because each project has difference
needs, there's not really a direct answer for those questions. In most cases we provide
an engineer, but some clients bring their own, some need a producer and some are producers,
some want to rent special
equipment or hire Louis Martinez to produce as well as engineer.
If you tell us the budget you have in mind for your project and what
you need to get done, we will present you with a plan and budget to get it done.
When you email or call, tell us, share with us, as much as you can
about your project - what kind of music, will you be bringing in a complete
band, how many people, how many songs, are you recording, mixing, mastering
or the works, what is the project for - a demo, an EP, or an full album, is it a DIY project or for a
Major/Indie label, do
you have any specific equipment or instrument needs, how much time do you think
you need and the budget.
Often people want to tour the studio, meet the
staff and get a feel of the environment before making a decision, this is a
very good idea. There are a
variety of times throughout the week when we can do this, but it's always
dependent on whether a session is happening. Weekdays, early mornings are often
a good times.

BOOKING
Session Planning
We will have a short consultation with you around the time
of your booking to understand how we can best serve you and know what your
expectations for your sessions are. We strongly recommend that you plan out each
of your sessions and recording days ahead of time and allow for some overtime
incase the tracking and overdubbing process takes longer than you expect. We
recommend your group selects a leader to mediate between group members and
Syncrecy staff. This will help maintain order and responsibility for your project. We
will be happy to assist you in scheduling and general work flow for your sessions.
Booking
Syncrecy requires a minimum number of hours (4 @ normal rate) for any session or
service. Day rates (4 to 10 hours) and weekly lockout rates (3 to 6 days) are
available upon request. You must complete a project order agreement with Syncrecy
and arrange a time schedule for individual sessions. Your session
hours must be used within 60 days of the beginning of a project order, unless your
first session is scheduled for a later start date, at which time the 60-day
maximum policy will take affect.

Payment
Work orders require a 50% deposit on the entire number of
hours proposed at the time of booking. The remaining payments are due on
delivery of services at the end of each session. Payment forms that are accepted
are cash, money orders, and certified/cashier’s checks. Credit/debit cards and
check are only accepted via our Pay-Pal internet-based payment service account.
All Pay-Pal payments are subject to a 3.5% surcharge. Please contact us for further
